Default My New All Pro Offroad Bumper Install

Well I ordered a new rear bumper from All Pro Offroad for the back of the Taco. It was between All Pro's and Marlin Crawler's. I liked the APO one a little better. I painted it a week ago. Finally got a chance to install yesterday.

Stock, also had to remove a Drawtite hitch (soon for sale)

Here it is bare, the way it came. Went over it with some wax and greasy delivery guy handprint remover.

Next up was a few coats of a new 2-part spray epoxy primer. Got it at the local Car Quest. You have 48 hrs. to use after you activate it (smacking a plug on the bottom of the can).

That was followed with a couple coats Krylon Rust Tough semi-gloss, a couple coats of spray epoxy clear. That was too glossy for my tastes so I dulled it with some Krylon semi-gloss clear. I was going to have it powdercoated but I had already went over budget some on the bumper. I think the paint should hold-up well.

Her it is after the install. It went on fairly easy too and everything lined up. I just have to ground the license plate lights and it will be all set.

Maybe I need to install a couple of in-cab activated hedge trimmers back there now.
