I think this thread is for just a trail ride, not sure when the things are going on at snowsnake. This one will be meeting PurpleRhino in Rosebush and coming to Harrison to meet up with us and go riding around this area... We may go to snowsnake if Ron is there to check it out...

I touched base with Ron, he is going to keep in touch with us throughout the week, but so far, the plan is to run up to Snow Snake, help Ron clearing some brush and play there for a while before hitting some trails to the north of Snow Snake. We will probably run until everyone gets too tired. We've packed it up by 9:00 before, but we've also stayed out until past midnight having a blast on the trails. We generally play it by ear.

My jeep is like a kid, it takes everything I got.

Whats the area your planning to ride in, up in harrison, trails or roads?
just wondering, have you ever been up in the meridith area going up to Houghton lake. Theres some real nice lakes, in the backwoods, and some nice hilly, tight trails. The Dnr shut down a couple cause the couldn't watch it all, but all is legal. Still alot and it goes into the Denton St Hellens area also. I'm not sure if fullsize could do it all, probably have to detour a couple routes jeeps are badass on these. Just don't mind a few trail scratches.
I'm in for a good ride, and the snowsnake trailbombing is a must.

I have done the trails up between Meredith and Houghton Lake before, but not in almost a decade, but I'd like to do them again sometime soon. The trails we are planning to run are a mix of seasonal roads and trails, some rolling hills, mud and tight trails, as well as some private property possibly (scratches quite likely). Hopefully Ron can get us into Snow Snake for a little playing. I know he is planning a big run up there next weekend, but he said they may be in there doing some clean up of some brush and such on Saturday, but he wouldn't be sure until Friday. If we can't get into Snow Snake on Saturday, there is always next weekend and we will still run trails to the north of Harrison and have plenty of very interesting challenges on Saturday. Always a good time and no one left behind.

I just got a PM from Ron saying that they should be working on the trails at Snow Snake on Saturday afternoon and to bring the group of us in. So all is looking good in wheeling land for Saturday.

I should be able to make it to Rosebush between 3:00 and 3:30. We were going to hold off until 4:00 for Brady, but since he can't make it we should be able to leave a little earlier. I still have to work until 2:00 See you then.

I'm trying to make it. it's easy with my 5 year old, he loves to go wheeling, my two year old daughter can't sit still long enough yet, but I told you earlier this spring that I wanted to get out on the trail with you guys, it sounds like you guys know how to have a good time.
