Try Fox Labs pepper spray. Just watch which way the wind is going or you'll end up getting some yourself.

This stuff is GREAT! Spray someone and they get about a half second of "WTF?" followed by OH MY GOD IT BURNS!!!!! You'll see em' rolling on the ground clawing at their face screaming for it to end.

Once sprayed, he ain't shooting anybody. The bad guy can easily be "tuned up" once he's at your mercy. You also get a free gun out of it. (his)

Also, go to Michigan Police Equipment and get him a Surefire G2 flashlight with the P61 bulb. It's not too expensive, and it's unlikely Gander Mountain will have that light with that bulb. Ask for Dave Cady. He'll help you. He's a great guy.

That light can really screw up somone's vision for a few seconds, making aiming impossible.

i didnt say he needs to carry a gun just giving an example of a friend who tried to avoid similar situations. i do think 19 is to young for a handgun to be carried and yes the law is 21 but going through the class and learning the responsibilities of a gun is never a bad thing to know.

It was his last delivery so he had about $150.00 on him but he's alive ! thats all I care about... He has today off.so he has a day to chill and decide if he wants to continue delivery or work inside .

*** I have a .38 special that he could get a permit for.But I really don't want my son carring a gun . he's 19 (and still a bit stupid sometimnes) ..don't you have to be 21 anyway?
I would not want my boy carring a gun at 19!!! Hell I stopped carring my 45 around a year ago. it was just heavy and always in the way. look into the peper spray or teach him how to use a blade.

fucked up eh? at 18 you can vote, fight in a war, etc... but if you have a beer you go to jail.

Yes i used to work in ER, so i had Hungry Howies, Reidy's and Mr M's phone numbers memorized. It was only 4 numbers to remember

That sucks though, but the outskirts of ER can be kind of shady.
