3 cylinders not firing

Had the boat out 2 weekends ago and after about an hour of running, it all of a sudden sounded different and lost a ton of power. Couldn't get the RPMs up and it wouldn't get up on plane.

I went out and bought 6 spark plug testers (the inline light up kind) and all 3 cylinders on the left side are not firing. The 3 on the right appear to be fine. I traced the wires up to the box that is labeled as the "power pack" by the diagrams I have been looking at here http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Access...htm?popup=true. Each cylinder has its own coil pack, but I doubt all 3 of them went bad at the same time on the same side.

Any ideas on which part could be bad before I start digging in? Is it the actual power pack or a part that sends the pulses (timing)? each part os like $300.
Thanks!

FWIW your link doesn't work.

Wouldn't there be a Ignition module of some sort that tells the coils to fire?

That seems to be what this "power pack" is. Try the link again.
