need help making purchase decision!!! what do you guys think?

im considering buying a rig to part out into my truck
its a 75 k5 but i only want it for thes parts:
its got a 454
sm465 hyro clutch
np205
dana 60 front 5.13 spool
corp 14bolt rear 5.13 welded carrier
brand new 42in tsls

hes asking 5500

what do you guys think?
ill have more info on the engine soon, but i think its basically carbed stock

also, whats it take to swap from a 350 to 454? do they use the same crossmember and motor mounts? ive never had anything to do with big blocks before, if i get it im sure ill be back with more questions

the 454 "should" be a direct bolt-in: motor mounts and bellhousing anyways.

well thats good news, cause ive got a 300$ cross member/pan hard set up and i was worried the motor mounts are differnent

Why cant you put your parts back in the parts truck and sell it whole for 2,000-3,000

wow i never actually considered that! damn. thanks for the idea! i was thinking about keeping the 383 and th350 and dana 44s to have when i build a jeep (in the long future) but reselling the k5 with my parts would def be worth it
