Default Comcast High Speed Internet

In an effort to reduce the fam's monthly expenses, I just called comcast and reduced my internet package from 6Mps to 1.5Mps..

How sorry am I going to be?

you should have just told them to transfer you to retention and that you wanted to cancel all of your services (possibly for a better deal offered by a certain satilite company)

they would have given you a deal to keep you as a customer...

ask me how i know.

I already did that.. the deal lasted 6mos.. and here I am back at $120/mo..

i used to work for a cable company.

If someone wont give you a deal, hang up and call back and get someone else,

its all commission based stuff, you should get a deal.

You need to call 800-835-5443 since the contract companies for Comcast get better deals and they stick for up to 2 years.

See what we can do for you, it all depends on where you live but it's worth a try.

I called earlier tonight, spent 2 minutes on the phone with a rep, and they took $15 off my $135 bill. I'm going to do some more work on it tomorrow, the lady I talked to today was a bitch.

i have three remote offices that run of T1's (1.5) you will be fine as long as the service is not slow in your area.

Go to someone else for awhile and come back. They do not reward loyalty.

I got my high speed, cable, and dvr for $85/mo. I'll just leave em if they dont keep that up after a year or whatever it is.

I have charter and I am waiting for just one bill to come in correctly so I can cancel my friggen service.

Since I signed up several months ago they have yet to bill me correctly. I really wish I would have stuck with a company that treated me right instead of believing I could save money.
