Default Highland Park PD - Urban Decay: ISO Web Site Address

Anyone remember that Urban decay website featuring a ton of photoblogs about abandoned/derelict buildings in South East Michigan including the old Highland Park PD Headquarters?

I think I have it bookmarked at home. Someone here at work was just talking about a relative that used to be employed there. They were interested in seeing what it's become (without driving there themselves)

Kewl sites, i've always been interested in all the old historic buildings in teh "D" for some reason. I'd really like to get inside a couple of them, like the Michigan Central train station.

http://www.flickr.com/groups/exposuredetroit/

This group travels to Detroit ruins regularly. My daughter is one of them and she's having a 36 photo gallery showing opening tonight in Royal Oak. Bean & Leaf Cafe. All her pics are for sale.

Just a few of her downtown pics. She's joining a group of local photographers who are renting a loft studio.

A guy I knows takes his cars and finds abandoned buildings to take pictures of it in. He said he's found old abandoned cars from the 70's and earlier in some of these places.

Thanks, I found those sites courtesy of google. This was "LostMichigan" or ForgottenBuildings or something of the sort I'm thinking of.

In addition to Highland Park, it had many of the once great buildings downtown, including the caddilac hotel, etc. I'll dig tonight.

It used to be called "Fabulous Ruins of Detroit" he must have moved the site. That's really funny that it's on detroityes.com
