Default Aluminum welding sticks

Have you guys ever used this stuff? I just need to tack some small pieces of thin (1/16") aluminum together.

That material works great for beer cans, thats about it. Kirksite is a major component, which is pretty weak. If you need strength, get it Tig welded. I used to sell that crap at my old store until the bitching started.Harris has an Aluminum solder kit that has enjoyed some success. AL-BRAZE 1070 Comes as a kit with aluminum solder and flux.

If they are the same thing as what Harbor Freight sells, then I have used it and it works. Just wouldnt recommend it for anything structural.

My Mig is set up for aluminum 4043 right now. Bring it over, and we can probably do what you need.

It's just for messin' around on a little project I'm doing. Plus I wanted to play with some of this stuff to see what it's all about.
