Default Electric Exhaust Cutouts

I just got my Flow-Tech Race Readies yesterday, and will probably keep them closed until I can get some Electric Exhaust Cutouts for them. It is amazing that they are consistently priced to $300 min for a pair, and I have not been able to find anything cheaper! I need 2.25 inch dia. and the 1st place I looked was Summit. Crazy, this is one market I have never seen before where there is NOBODY giving a better deal than the next!

Any suggestions?

This is what I need:

Do you have "true" dual exhaust on your truck? I have a 2.5" dia. QTP electric exhaust cutout on my 99 TJ, i mounted the cutout & electric dump before the cat.

That is pretty common, especially if they have an agreement where manufacturer sets the price. John Deere and Maytag do it a lot as well.

Yup, true dual. Cats are going away this weekend, maybe.

Did you weld your cutouts or clamp them?

If your taking your cats off the Tahoe it will run worse. Unless you have baffles welded around the rear o2s to trap heat.

Nope, no baffles. I'll put be putting in an O2 simulator/emulator to send the signal back to the computer that the cat is just fine...
