Default I feel like such a kid

I discovered on the 4th of July that I can ride our ATV. I know that doesn't sound like much, but, I have somewhere around 8 vertabrae issues that I've been dealing with since December. I couldn't even get on it a month ago.
Now, I'm taking it out everyday while I'm home alone.

'Sides, that way I can go back in our woods and the mosquitos have to work harder to get me.

I still feel like a kid every winter when the snow flies! I f'ing love winter!

I feel the same way when I take my top off and go for a spin in the jeep when it is warm enough. Then I get sick of it because it is too f'ing hot, have to take my dayum coat off, and there is no snow!!!! I mean come on!!!!!! No snow in the summer sucks. Oh trust me it totally blowz. If we had snow all year round here that would f'ing rock! Think about it? No more mowing the f'ing lawn. Always using 4wd just because. No insects to bite us. No need to worry about a shade tree. Never need to worry about kewling off. No yelling at the kids to close the door because the a/c is running. Food! Oh yeah the food in the winter is best. Nice hot bowl of stew, pot roasts, and awesome casseroles!! You don't eat that in the hot summer!! Why because summer kills the desire for the things that are truly great like above mentioned. Oh last but not least sex! Yes sex in winter is that much better. You have to be close and you want to be close to feed of each others body heat! In the summer you can't wait to get the f away to get a shower. Not to mention the sweat you can smell afterwards. Sickening!!!!!

But yeah I feel like a kid too.

I haven't had the top off mine for 2 years - well I did when I put the half-top on. I can't figure out how to open the roof part of the half top and not have the canvas flap in the wind. Maybe I'll work on that problem over the weekend when I can leave it in the pole barn for a few days. With the rain we keep having the window of enjoyment doesn't span many days.

Leave the top on. Toss the window and doors in the pole barn. You will only get slightly damp if it rains. Full blown monsoon you will get a bit more damp. Oh and keep a rag handy for the inside of the windshield. I suggest rainx on both sides of the windshield.

Do I detect a safety talk?

I don't go very fast and the trail is rather flat other than the ditch that the farmers dug around 80 years ago. I don't go that way.

The hardest part right now is getting the thing to turn when I'm going that slow. On my maiden voyage I had to make a really big loop in the neighbors field to get back on our trail. Now, I just use reverse but I still can't get those turns. They are tight ones, though.

I'm rather familiar with the moisture-inside-the-TJ issue. I had 1/2" of water at my feet one morning. I had it wide open out in the sun today to dry it out after last night's rain. The nylon straps that are on the top above the door act like wicks and water just runs on in. I also have rust around my windshield under the new gasket. I was told they couldn't guarantee the windshield because of all the rust they found around it.

Ahh, Jeeplife.
