Default Dodge Nitro

Does anyone one here have a Dodge Nitro? I am looking to get one and was wondering your likes and dislikes about them. Also what kind of MPG's are you getting? Let me know.

Thanks!

I've driven a few. They ride decent, handle ok and stuff. For MPG you can see anywhere from 15 to 20 depending on how you drive.

A gentleman that camped next us a few weeks back had one. He had the R/T and he was pulling a 35' Travel Trailer with slides. Now that was impressive. I'd never attemp it but hey, he said it only almost pushed him off the freeway one time in 60-70 mph winds. His priced in around 32,000.00 I was impressed with the vehicle as it was. I kind of want one now. I think he told me he was getting low to mid 20's mpg with his. I might still purchase one in the near future.

A person in my carpool had one (had to trade it in for a minivan though with twins on the way). She really liked it and hated to give it up, but not enough room for 3 car seats.
Mileage was upper teens low twenties, good ride, she bought it new and had it probably 2 years and only had a couple minor problems with it.

How is that possible since the "EC" (Employee Choice) program was discontinued for 2008?

The "Employee Purchase" and the "Friends" program are still active though.

I drove a Nitro SRT on our track, and enjoyed the experience for what it is worth.

Hag is a very well rounded person. He is actually quite intelligent. Looks funny, but intelligent. Would you rather he mislead you?

I have a liberty, KJ not a KK, but yeah, i'd avoid a nitro.

you'll get better/same mileage as a full size pickup, and have alot more car.

I hope you aren't talking new, because car lots are littered with cheap SUV's of all sizes. 07 liberties are less than 13K on some lots.

then i assume there are other smallish SUV's out there in the same situation

What scottie is trying to say is the Nitro is not weird enough for him.
