yeah, I have a 1943 Steel penny. I thought somebody just scratched the copper off, but when I did some searching I found out about the changeover for WWII and I put a magnet on it and it stuck. I have never had another penny stick to a magnet. But then again, I haven't tried a new penny. I also have an 1892 Indian Head. I find these in change I get from the store.
