Default Starting trouble..need help fast.

WE are leaving for silver lake in 2 days. jeep is not starting. Recently did engine swap (SBC) & rewired jeep. Jeep has been starting ok but yesterday drove it to get gas turned it off & now it won't start.
Seems to be enough battery power, sounds like the selenoid isn't kicking in. Just that "clicking" sound. Took starter up to get tested...tested fine. Come back home & install.. Same thing. just clicking. Got battery on charger now. Could a 1.5 mile drive drain the battery enough to not start it? Could it be the battery? Need help fast. I am guessing that since I rewired it I don't know shat about rewiring its probably a bug somewhere. But, like i said its been starting fine for weeks now. This trip t the gas station was the first trip where i stopped & turned it off, then tried to start it again. But I had done it in the driveway a bunch of times for tuning & other stuff. Need help Fast. If any body knows electical out there HELP!!!!!

I am going to say no. I've been having to put it on the charger every couple days. But it has always started. At least when i tried to crank no matter how low the battery was. That is why i am really concerned.

the "just clicking" could be 2 things,
either a stuck solenoid on the starter, or not enough juice.
try a different battery and see what happens.

oh, and if you wouldnt have put a stupid fucking chevy motor in your jeep you wouldn't be having these issues

Got a great deal on the motor (400sbc), Trans (th350) & transfe case (NP205). couldn't pass it up. I think you guys are right Its on the charger now. I am going to leave it on for the rest of the day & possibly just get a new one.

well your at it test the alternator, that way when it comes down to it you know if it is a grounding problem or the alternator.

drove around a bit & voltmeter stayed steady. No droppage. Could I tell that way? Has been no issue since the one time. Thinking its the solenoid.

that's what I am figuring too. I bought a Summit universal wiring harness (piece of Shit) & wired it like it says. I have been looking at the painless site & just trying to use them as a guide. DO NOT BUY the summit set. Directions are horrible & very vague. I was trying to save money. silly isn't it..being a jeep owner & all.
