The sub frame is for the link mounts? Looks like it warped when you welded it, or is that camera aspect?

Gitting the links fit. I am going to tack weld them in and then run them in the calc. to see if they are going to work ok. If you have better ideas let my know.






No CNC
























All pics are at full stuff.
Upper links will be 1.75" 7075t6 with .750"/.750" cromo himes with 5/8" bolt
Lower links will be 2.0" 7075t6 with 1.25" Trail-Gear flex joints with 18mm bolt

I love the build man, Escpecially at the beginning. I am doing a toyota swap myself, and am Looking for a couple answers. if you dont mind.
I want to use leaf springs for now and like the way you put them in.
Should I use toyota springs or yj's
What springs did you use and how did you mount them, did you buy brackets or make them?

Also where did you get the inner fenders for the rear? you said they were heep fenderS?

I also like how you mounted the perchs and springs to the axle, did that work good?

Also how much strech did you end up doing to the frame?

I used toyota springs 42" rears. I went through 6 packs last summer.
The wheel base was 93.5"
