5.5 quarts, 5.5" tall, internal baffling (as good as you are going to get from the factory)

you will also need the pick-up tube and dip stick.

I'm not sure if I shoudl use that pan or one by Kevco that is a "trap door" style....

Ahh thank you sir... Do you think a 24" wide would fit or will it be too tight.

The Vette pans are the batwing style, it's more likely from an F-body or GTO. I've been told all the C6s are dry sump too but I can't confirm that. The F body pan is the most popular route people take, myself included. The GTO pan is lower profile than the truck one but not as good as F body.

the Z06 (rpo LS7) and the ZR1 (rpo LS9) are the only engines currently that have the dry sump. all of the other corvettes have the standard pan that jim has that is as I described. there are a ton of pans out there... check on some of the f-body forums and they give a pretty good break-down with dimensions, applications and capacities.

and Jim has a C6 LS2 and LS3 oil pan on his truck.... ask me how I know

the bat wing pan was on the C5 corvettes only... and for what it's worth, my dad was one of the key people responsible for coming up with it.

New front upper set up.. I think it will look a ton better than the previous design. Tomorrow i will finish it up most likely.

How'd you get a new SP175? I thought they replaced it with the 180 like a year and a half ago? Either way, great welder. I've used a couple of em and had nothing but good things to say.
