Default tranny question

78 f-250 with a 351 m in it. and a 4 speed manual with granny first gear. will that tranny bolt up to a 460???

if so what tranny would that be and what kinda power can it handel?

yes it will bolt up, not sure of the model but if its got a granny low its a truck tranny and should hold up to a 460

yes but you need the 460 flywheel and they changed about 1979 (for internaly and externaly balance) and the granny low standard trans also came in the bronco (semi-rare)

That would be a New Process 435, it's a fairly tough unit.
