Default new boat with pics

ok here is my boat i got a 1967 geniva made in hudson mich. its 14ft woth a 40hp merc and runs about 38mph pulls tubers and skiers all day let me know what you think.

You get 38mph out of a 40 hp? That's awesome. Growing up we had a 14 ft Starcraft with a 35hp Merc & it only did about 28-30.

I like it.

ya my dad had a 14ft starcraft with a 40hp johnyrude and it ran like 32 with a 4 blade brass prop

ya it was well taken care of original seats everything was original but the motor it had a 60hp v4 johnyrude had no spark when i bough it. I did points condensors plugs and wires ran good put it in the water put it in reverse to pull off the trailer and wouldent come out of reverese. so i aint puttin no more money in a omc bbecause in my experienses you put all your money into them and you will still break down. so i put my merc on it.
