Such Majestic. Wow.
1985 Mustang Notch w/ built 302 **Price drop! $2000!**
1985 Mustang Notch
Engine (what we all care about)
About 400 miles on it
302 punched .040 over
Ported 289 Heads
Edelbrock Performer 289 Intake
New Edelbrock 600 cfm carb w/electric choke
Race bullet exhaust (loud)
Moroso Valvecovers (bling)
Ford 5 speed manual with 400 miles
Brand new race clutch
Freshly rebuilt (400 miles)
3.73 rear gear
All original red
Needs voltage gauge hooked up
Has a black cover on the dash from previous owner
Needs a center console lid
Has aftermarket head unit with 6x9s in the rear
Push button start
What it needs:
Needs new tires. The ones on it are dry rotted from sitting while I was in basic training but I drove it around just fine the other night.
Has manual steering which is extremely easy to drive with but still has the pump installed. The line and belt are in the trunk if you feel like hooking it up.
Has a stripped tooth on the steering gear box. Still more than driveable but skips the tooth when steering.
Valvecovers leak from recent work. Can fixed with pliers. The gaskets just need to be reseated (literally five minutes worth of work).
I believe it needs a new alternator which is an extremely cheap and easy job to do on this motor. Will not take you more than half an hour including the trip to the parts store.
I planned on using this car as my daily driver in Texas but ran out of time so I gotta take the wife's jeep instead. It's just a few nickel and dime stuff to take care of and you've got an extremely dependable nice looking notch with a brand new drivetrain.
Any questions just give me a call at 248-709-6721. My name is Jeremy. I'll be in Texas but the car is located in Rochester Hills, Mi with a signed title and my parents will be able to show you the car whenever.
All I want is what I owe on it. $3000.
