Question Thinking about buying a boat need help!

I had to sell my boat earlier this year to pay some medical bills. I miss it and am now looking to buy another one. Money is pretty tight so I cant spend to much. I do alot of tubing and like to ski. I also do most of my boating on mullet lake in Cheboygan. Any way I guess my question is what should I get that is fairly cheap but can go on big water? Any help would be nice. Thanks!

I've had a fourwinds 211 liberator with a custom 350 black magnum and thrull hull exhaust at a top speed of 68-69 mph on Mullet Lake previously. I love it up there. There's quite a few smaller four winns and countless others that would work.

I'm sorry but I don't see that boat with a 350 hitting anything over 50-60...hell even the ones with big blocks just kiss 60

You would have to know the owner of the boat. This guy is an incredible engine/truck builder and you don't have to believe me but I was in the boat and we had that speed figured very very close. I still wish he would sell the boat. It sits in his climate controlled garage and probably hasn't seen daylight in a few years.

I'm not doubting his skills at engine building however I have yet to see a boat speedo(non gps speedo) come close to actual speed anything past 45ish
