Default Mud King tires

Any of you guy's use them? What are your thoughts on them? They look like pretty decent tires and are made by BFGoodrich.

I haven't personally used them but know a couple who have. They are made by BFG and wear lke iron. One guy I know running them had over 100k on them.

I had a set of Sport Kings (their AT tire). They were on my old Toyota XtraCab when I bought it. It had 140k on it. I found the receipt in the glovebox for the tires. They were installed at 35k. I cut a sidewall and went to Discount. They put a new one on for $20 and you could hardly tell which one it was.

A buddy of mine had a set, he drove his TJ across the country and back on them twice. They wear great and they dig quite well. Great tire for the price.

I have them on my YJ

35x12.50r15

They work good and wear nice. I have some small gashes in the lugs but thats expected with any mud tire.

Would I get them again? Probably not as I put my jeep on a trailer now instead of flat towing and would like a more aggresive mud tire.

work good in the sand at 5psi :)

I have been shopping tires for a while now and came across them on summitracing.com and for the price (140 a tire) for 35/1250/15 I thought that was a great deal compared to the BFG MT'S at 220 a tire. So 4 tires 4 Cragar soft 8's 15x10 for 780 delivered, What a deal!!

I had a set of 35's. The wear was nice, traction was comparable to the older BFG MT's. The only problem I had was with the side walls. I did tear the side walls on 2 tires.

this is why i deal with summitracing. They have awesome delivery service. Unfortunately i think I'm on the end of the UPS route as he gets here around 7ish either way better than waiting more than two days.

Do you ever pay for faster shipping? I never have with them, never fealt the need and that is also why I go back. There return policy is also flawless (in my opinion). They sent me another hat too, gave it to my son.

I have a set of mudkings in the 31" flavor that I wheeled on my xj before I built it to it's current state and loved them, now my mom uses them on her stock TJ, and what a difference a tire can make. I don't think you'll be dissapointed with the tires, mine have over 100,000 on them.

OH, BTW I called Discount tire and asked how much for a set. They told me that they no longer produce that tire and I am getting old tires that are sitting in the warehouse. Sounds like douche-baggery to me! Then he tried to sell me a BFG MT which I like but they are very pricey. owell

hmmm, i might have to look into getting 2 of those. i got 3 general grabber m/t tires from a guy off of ebay with a little over 1/2 tread left on them and i'm having a hard time finding them for a decent price. they are 33x12.5x15, might have to look into these, pretty close to the tread pattern, don't sound too bad for the price either. i'll get a pic of the tires i have and post it sometime. didn't mean to kind of hijack the thread.

I ran them in the past and also BFG MT. I would say they are comparable. Both suck in the snow BTW.

mu buddy has them on his xj, 33x12.5 and he loves them, has like 50 000kms on them and they look new, he wishes they made a 37 or 38 to throw on his cj... they seem to dig/clean decently too..
