Default Wood Decks, Anyone do these?

Anyone on this board do wood decks? I'm looking into either deck or cement on back of the house.

TIA

Brian

easy.. 3 decks that are ~7x10 and cascade 4' off the ground to 3' to 2' off the ground.

I built my dads deck with him, not hard to do, but it sounds like you want to have it done

I guess I was thinking more of each level being much farther apart

My dad sells a type of board that is composite plastic I believe that looks like wood, but you dont have to stain it or seal it and they kind of snap together for a really clean tight look, a little bit more than wood but worth every penny.

Yep, and no splinters! It's a great product.

Yes, that WAS true, but now it has a very good texture to it that keeps it from being slick at all, very high quality product

Depends on the brand... my grandma had this done last year on her back porch she added on, due to the lack of maintenance needed, even built her ramp... when its wet her damn scooter wont even go up it, and with snow look out.

We have since covered the entire ramp and pathway she walks with strips of grip-tape

That is very true JeepFreak, forgot about that, my father only carries a certain brand and I am not sure of the name, I guess I could get it if somebody really wanted it, but I am talking about that, I will be building a deck off my new place in the UP with it very shortly
