Here you go... It changes your steering from the inverted-Y to what is found on Rams (and other trucks, I'm sure).

Not on this one...

Where's it supposed to be? On top, or on the bottom?

I am running this same setup type of setup with a spooled front on 38's and hydro assist and it works great.

Not to hi-jack but does anyone know where I can locally buy the dust covers for these TRE's

Or If I cant find a set can I just order the boots?

Thanks

Knuckle is fine... you have to relocate the sway bar mounts, and a few other small things. Also depending on wheel backspacing, there may be clearance issues there.

thats how I did mine, I used a 7* taper (i think thats it) then used a set of tapered bushings that the tie rods ends sit in.

I got the reamer off the Snap-on truck for around $20 dont have the part number here at work but can post it later if you need it.

Think that reversing the pin and bending the link into an "S" like I did on my Ram migth make enough room for the drag link, or is it the swaybar pin mount itself that interferes with the tierod?

It's the mount itself that gets in the way.

thats one problem i have noticed with this setup, the boots/dust covers/grease holder-inners on the tie rod get trashed in the first 3 trips because it rocks as you turn left to right. i too am looking for new dust covers now that i have reworked my steering so it doesnt do it anymore.
