Default 96 f150

hi everyone. i am looking to put a lift on my 96 f150. i want to put on a 6 inch and 35s, but im worried about not being able to turn the tires. probably wont be off roading till i get a new ring and pinion but will my truck with the 300 straight six and stock gearing turn the tires ok or should i just go with the 4 inch lift.

you running an auto or stick? 4 or 6 inch lift wont really make any difference as far as turning the tires, it will be doggy with stock gears, but how bad depends on the actual stock ratio and the tranny your running

I ran a 1989 F150 with the 300 I6 and 36-14.50 tires for quite awhile with the stock gearing (can't remember if it was 3.55 or 3.73) before I upgraded to 4.56 gears.

Just my $.02....
