Default Superlight inflatable tunnel hull

Otherwise known as dux boats, thunderducks, zapcats, etc.

Anyone ever run these? I've watched the Marathon Nationals in Indian River a few times, they look like a blast. I found a boat minus engine for sale which has peaked my interest. Anyone know the going rate (or a source) for a used, fairly modern, 50 HP Yamaha outboard?

We have at work a Sea Wolf with a 25hp on it, made for up to a 65 hp. 13' long and can carry 1800lbs which is a rescue boat but the thing flies. I myself have had a 8' and a 11', the 11' I had a 25 hp on it and the thing would jump out of the water.

I played around with one for a while. I want to say it was about a 10 or 12 foot with a 50 HP. It was crazy fast. I would suggest never driving it without the safety cut out tether attached to you. That damn thing would turn so fast, there was no possible way to hold on and it would fling everyone off the side.

Yes, have the fastest in the circuit. US-1 title, and have won Nationals in Indian River this year. Boat is for sale now- get a hold of me if you are still interested in buying a boat- selling with 2 customer build motors, gear, props. GUARENTEED WINNER!!!! Selling due to other obligations, trying to finish school, and buy a house. For sale or trade! Check out www.tricityrvracing.com to see the boat, few videos on there.
