Default econoline tow rig?

got an older econoline and i'm tring to find a spot to mount the trailer brake controler. I cant find a flat spot within arms reach to mount this friggin thing.

anybody got an econoline with a brake contoler? where did you mount it?

Right now it's on the right side over my knee, but it isn't working to good. it's too vertical.

i'm afraid that i'm going to have to get another one thats electronic, so I can mount it vertical there.

the adjuster on the side of the controller wont turn far enough ??

nope. the knee bolster is almost vertical. looking like i'm going to have to buy another controler to replace the new one I got last year. either that or I'm going to have to lose the cup holder on my side.
