what can i say. I love working on overly complicated german cars with uptight anal retentive owners. So I just beat the crap out of my yota on the weekends.
I am putting some photo's of the stickers up on the site. I will send a link as I can.

Congrats! Too bad you are so far for me.

I know someone doing a TDI into a '81 Toy pickup. I will point him to you.

Hah, retentive owners? That may be, but I can tell ya that the Audi techs and AOA are about as useless as can be at a few stealerships around here, so that assessment is suspect.

Hope you arent an Audi tech at Maple Hill. I'll be damned if I havn't cost them enough business. I didnt ask for anything but for someone to do the job CORRECTLY. If thats retentive, imagine what the offroad community will do about crap work...

I was an Allroad owner and couldnt believe what the techs there considered 'done' work.

I had extensive logs, dates, and histories of how bad it was.

'Just hit the button a bunch of times, itll eventually lock'

'I didnt see it leak' 2 mins after being told that, the suspension was slammed and completely empty while in the service bay

'No, there is no way that its the alternator, those never go bad, its a bad battery' After an arguement about all my testing and how it was impossible for the problem to be a battery, guess what it was.

'We replaceed the right sensor, your vag-com is wrong' Guess what...yup..Vag-Com matched results of the 'official system, they swapped wrong sensor'

I dont think I ever had a problem resolved in the first 2 trips, and had a 100% success rate with 1: Being treated like an asshole 'know it all retentative customer' and 2: Being right in the end.

When will people learn, be nice to the customers face, THEN talk shit when hes not there. Also, when you called the owner out, and were WRONG, man up and suck it up, dont have the cashier make the apologetic backpedaling calls (It did however get me lots of rental loaner cars)

Wouldnt be so bad if some ham fisted morons didnt break 2 things that were unrelated to the things I had it in there for....every time.

Anyways, this wasnt a thread about Maple Hill auto.

We are still working on the site, as for the audi post yes i am a tech at maple hill but i have only been working on audi's in Kazoo for about 6 months. I am expert level certified and I can honestly say i have not worked on any suspensions for an all road. The Tacoma we are building is going to be the flagship for the shop to showcase all our fab and mechanical skills. My 87 yota is the same one from plainwell, wilth ALOT of modifications. Anyway I am looking for some cool off road clubs to join also. I used to live in Las Vegas and am fairly new to the 4xing in Michigan. Thanks for the support and if we see any of you on the trail we will be glad to help out and have some fun.

Well, to your credit, my Allroad issues were 2005-2007.

Kick them in the ass.
