Trailer hub conversion?
Ok, I have this trailer with the semi style hubs and rims. Like a rim with no center and it's held on by those little tab things.
Is there a conversion kit to convert it to normal stuff with normal rims? |

I am pretty sure you should be able to change over. Pull off your old hub and take it in to your local trailer place. Might be a few miles by you. I just did some at work. Usually see the style you have on mobile homes. I had to replace hub assemblies, brake asemblies, rims, and tires. Mine had no flange for brakes so I had to make one to weld. It may be just as cost effective to replace the axles if you are wanting brakes though. Check out the northern hydraulics catalog.

been to the tractor supply....looks like about 200 to convert not counting the tires and rims.
It's mobile home style but has electric drum brakes. I'm gonna see if I can just pull off the drum and replace it with a regular drum and see if I can do it that way. It'll make the conversion about 1/2 the price if I don't have to buy new brakes and spindles also. |

any chance you have a part number for these? one of my trailers uses the mobile home style, and im sick of buying tires for it.
your getting just the drum/bearing race to convert to a regular wheel right? |
