Are you nutz first off the jon boat wasn't designed for a 70 hp motor. Now if you went to maybe a 10 hp motor then you would have more than enough motor to fly with it. Or go with a larger boat with a deeper v then you could use the 70 hp motor. You have to rember that what you do don't go above the manufactures rating for a motor on a boat. It's a wieght thing and sinking in water is not fun.

come out to the lake one weekend. its alot more fun than you would think at 90 plus mph skipping down the lake

my old neighbor used to have boats like the ones in the video you posted except his were always two or four seaters...90+ is fun and scary all at the same time
