Default WOOT! Picked up my new wheels...

Or, how to support your local economy, loose weight, and screw oil companies with one purchase.

Specs..

It doesn't have pedals because I haven't switched them off the old commuter to the new one

It is either 4.4 miles or exactly 4 miles from the house to the shop. I have been commute on two wheels for 3 weeks now, I really enjoy it! I bought a new bike when I was out shopping with Daryl for his.

uhh because we work enough in the shop and don't want to have to do more then we already do. Or because it would cost 3/4 of what it would cost just to buy it and have it done?

Why don't we build our own truck from scratch too! Sounds like fun!

They have a bike store line and a big box store line. The bike store line is comparable with other names in the price range.

It sucks because Schwinn used to really have it together quality wise across the board, but they couldn't compete anymore and Pacific bought them and sold the name out.

yeah it was a sad day when Pacific bought them. Luckily I've got a Homegrown that was the last year they were handmade and for the road i've got a 50th anniversary edition Paramount.

Yeah my bro has a Homegrown, and I have a nine.6 hardtail that I have been holding onto forever. I was a little sad when they got bought out. Their bike store line is really nice still though.

Nice fellas.

Hey Daryl, if you ever get to work before 11am we may pass each other on KL.
Did you get that Felt from AE Bike? They have a big line of them. I've wanted one for a while.

Another sad panda here for Schwinn. I had a Moab 2 for my 2nd real mountain bike, steel is real.
