No one can be "on" 24/7, for a lifetime. Everyone needs down time. But if you are authorized to carry a weapon, and you walk outside without it, just take a deep breath, and say this to yourself..."Baa." - Lt. Col. Dave Grossman
LTC David Grossman is one of my heroes. Every law abiding sitizen should carry a handgun. Thats what makes this country great.

I marked "legally"

I possess a Georgia State CPL that expires this month (which was only honored so long as my Military ID was valid, The MIL. ID expired this month too).

Either way, I try to carry in conjunction with the Law. Currently MI CPL applications state that if you've been convicted of a variety of Misdemeanor's (in my case reckless driving) then you might as well not apply until the statute of limitations has expired on that conviction (7-8 years). Hence it is my understanding that I shouldnt even apply for a CPL here because they wont allow it due to my drving record. So I limit when I carry to when I feel there is significant reason to carry (ie detroit).

I guess when it comes down to it. If I choose 2 carry "illegally" and find myself in a place where i have to use my weapon ..........I'd rather be alive and take my chances in a trail by 12 of my peers then dead.

Karl, you could carry a LAW on your belt and noone would say anything. You are the one person that I KNOW is well qualified to carry any pistol and has nothing but legal intentions.

I don't think a reckless will keep you from a CPL. I could be wrong, changes frequently and depending who you ask.

But if your carrying mi requires 0 BAC.

They are pretty strict about the requirements.
