Default ever had someone piss you off?

Some girl calls me this morning and wants to look at the XJ I'm selling. I talk to her for a while, telling her about the Jeep, and she sounds fairly knowledgeable. She says she wants to look at the Jeep tonight. Since I was working until 6, then going out boozing, I asked her if she could come tomorrow instead. She asks me what my bottom line was on the price, and when I tell her she says she wants to see it tonight and was definitely going to buy something tonight. She was adamant about seeing my Jeep and said she was really interested.

I figure I need to sell this Jeep and say OK and cancel my evening plans. She says to call her when I get home. I get home, call her and she tells me she is at her mothers and it will be about an hour till she is free. So I wash the Jeep and get all the crud off it from the rain the other day. I call her in an hour and get voice mail, so I leave a message. I call back in another half hour and the mailbox is full. She never calls or answered my calls.

I don't really care if she changed her mind, but a phone call telling me would have been nice. Plus I canceled plans!

Her name is Kelly and she sounded hot, how ironic is that.. :tonka:

Cliffs notes: Bitch didn't come buy my XJ. I'm phucked..

I was trying to sell a snowmobile a few years back, This happend to me every week. I had guys calling from Toranto, New York, and all over Michigan " yeah I wanna see it this weekend" cancel plans and they don't call or show. Another thing I hate is when people ask bottom line over the phone, when people do this it tell me that they don't have the money in the first place and are already out of ther price range.

I feel your pain, I ended up giving a $2000 dollar sled to my dad just so I didn't have to deal with all the crap.

best solution I had.. have an 'open house' .. Pick an hour time spot 2 times a week and tell everyone that is the only time you are showing it. if they can't make it, they can come to the next showing if the car/truck is still around...

I feel your pain. Had a guy call me from Vegas to tell me he worked for the supercross and had saved his money for the whole circuit so he had cash in hand and was coming to buy the truck. Called me the next night to tell me he was in St Louis and still on his way just needed my address. So I leave early from work the next day to meet at the agreed time, no call no show!! Wouldn't answer his phone, nothing. Like PP said, I hate tire kickers and bullshitters!!!

I nearly died (well, could have, or killed others) when my empty trailer jumped off my truck and into the Grand River Bridge in Eastmanville . . . I was on my way to Cornfed's to pick up a Jeep tub.

At least I called him immediately and told him I couldn't make it. lol.
