Get off your dead ass and see what it takes to become one of that 3% , I guarantee you will have a changed point of view.
well, I guess we'll see what happens. I know that if their is a progressive tax, you won't want to make a lot of money, so you'll just go work at Mcdonalds right, so you don't have to pay a lot in taxes.

Thats Bullshit Mike. How offended would you be if someone wanted to penalize you because of the effort you put out to get through school, and suggest you should contibute a larger portion of anything, because you busted your ass to get something done.

What the hell you mean if theirs a progressive tax there already is.

Look back at the 1950s and 1960s and see what the tav ceiling was on your federal income tax for a married head of household, before you do post what you think it was.

To all who think the "rich" should pay more taxes, I hope you become very successful and feel firsthand what it's like to be penalized for success.
Socialism/Communism does not work, in practice it will bankrupt a nation and stifle productivity.

You mean there are consequences for bad choices?

sorry, I meant to say a more progressive tax...

I went to colllege, i'm going to get a reasonably decent job and I wouldn't have a problem paying more tax than somebody struggling to get by working at McDonalds. That's probably because I'm a hippie liberal...but whatever. For the 3% of the population that has control of 21% of the wealth, I have absolutely no problem with these people paying slightly more tax. I also believe that a lot of these people aren't working their asses off, rather inheriting their asses off. Just my opinion. They make a LOT of money and should be happy to support their country.

Oh sorry since you put it that way go ahead and fukc me over Im good with it.
If we work it out just right we can make it so everybody ends up with the same amount of money at the end of the year.
That should be a great incentive to put a 100% effort forth.
We should also take some of our students with a higher GPA and give that to the students with a lower GPA.
They otta know whats comming.
That 3% your talking about supports the country proportionatley more than the other 97%
I have a huge problem with that.

This is what I like about liberals they are inconsistant, two faced, backstabbers. Perfect politicians.

You like to pound your chest and yell to the crowds how you are for equal rights that no one should be treated different. We as Americans are all entitled to the same rights. Your a bunch of lying sacks of shit.

Did you happen to look up the old required with holdings as I ask you to do ?

You guys keep acting like taxes just provide handouts to poor people. There's so much more to where our taxes go, and the poor people don't get a heck of alot of it.

1. It's easy to "cut taxes". Any monkey can do that. http://www.cbpp.org/1-31-07tax.htm But where does the money come from to pay for all the things that you DO approve of (like war)?

2. What about all the things you don't seem to be aware of, like infrastructure?

3. How many of you actually know what "the national debt" is?

People like Mr. Toes keep harping on how rich he is and how he's supporting the poor. Mr. Toes, I suspect that you know very little about economics, but even worse, I suspect that you know even less about how Dubya's escapades, like the Office of Faith Based Initiatives, or our illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, are being paid for. I have posted some detailed information on this very subject in another thread and Mr. Toes got strangely quiet....

So Mr. Toes, please tell us how Dubya's paying for everything since his tax cuts, if you can......?

Furthermore, please explain how we will be able to manage a growing population with your desired government shrinkage (abolishment?).

Since Mr. Toes will not have anything substantive to offer, maybe some of you can chime in and help him out.....?

You can't have your head that far up your ass that you would even chim in with some twisted bullshit and try to sound like you have a clue what your talking about.

The difference in the federal income tax from top to bottom is an increase of 250% from the bottom to the top. If you think this is fair and you think that Dubya has anything to do with me paying 250% more than some bodyelse you have some real issues with reality.

Since your trying to saddle me with an addiontal 250% of the responsibility don't you think I'm entitled to an additional 250% of control on where the money goes.

That's what a progressive tax is Mr. Toes, but that's a moot point because we've already established that. As usual you have evaded my questions and have nothing to contribute but smart ass remarks.

Let's entertain the comedian. We'll do it one question at a time

1. It's easy to "cut taxes". Any monkey can do that. http://www.cbpp.org/1-31-07tax.htm But where does the money come from to pay for all the things that you DO approve of (like war)?

Your question is where does, indicating at present, the answer is from the 250% more tax money that I pay.

FAIL. Bush is paying for this war by borrowing from the Federal Reserve Bank. He has NOT raised taxes to finance this war. No leader in world history has tried to fight a war by paying for it with debt. They always raise taxes. Dubya didn't because he doesn't want us to PROTEST. If he raised the taxes necessary to pay for this war, I bet you'd be the first person to yell about it.

Try again.
