omfg... why do people think this way? THE WAR IS FCUKING OVER. We're hardly running away with our tail inbetween our legs. If anything, we kicked them in the balls, had sex with their mother and are walking away giving the middle finger. I've never seen such devastation in my life.

Yes, we destroyed their government, destroyed their military, destroyed much of their infrastructure, and killed lots of people. If our goal was to do this and leave behind a smoldering shithole of a country ripe for breeding future terrorists then I would agree, we could say "mission accomplished" and proudly march home.

But from what I heard, and what I hope, that wasn't our goal. Our goal was to create a peaceful, democratic, pro-USA country in the Mid-east. This has not been accomplished, and I don't know if it ever will. But to leave based on a calender, rather than based on achieving our goal, to me is admitting defeat.

Shouldn't we have more forces in Afgahnistan then? I hear there are some terrorists there as well?

We, in Ireland, can't figure out why people are even bothering to hold an election in the United States.

On one side, you have a gal who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer, running against a lawyer who is married to a gal who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a war hero married to a good looking woman who owns a beer distributorship.

What are you lads thinking over there?"

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Democratic Sen. Barack Obama on Friday called for higher payroll taxes on wage-earners making more than $250,000 annually, a step that would affect the wealthiest 3 percent of Americans.

I can't support discrimination and that is what he is proposing.

The three percent he is targeting is already paying as much as 250% more than other citizens.

Thats Bullshit.

Tax a single dollar at a time at the same rate.
