Default 71 Mustang Clutch chattering/shuddering

I have been working on a 71 Mustang 351C with a 4 speed M/T. It has a real bad shudder when releasing the clutch from a stop. This in forward or reverse. If you take off hard (alot of throttle) you don't notice it as much. The owner said he had the clutch replaced and the flywheel machined. He also isn't very happy with the work the last place did, so they may have not machined flywheel or used junk parts. I also noticed that it has 3" lowering blocks on the rear axle. It has about 1-2" of freeplay in the clutch pedal.

So other than flywheel and clutch issuses, what else would you look at to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

sounds like crap parts. Or they didn't change the pilot bearing.
