Also had a blast. Saw a good example of why to never use hose clamps on the pressure side of power steering.:miff:

Never heard who had the radiator problem.

We had way more candy than we thought we needed & still ran out. Next year we're going to stash a bag & not open it till we get to Wendy's.

We had a great time. I think there was some more hardcore parade damage if I am not mistake to Jeepmann again this year :tonka: I thought Quagmire was doing killer burnout untill I saw the fluid on the ground

Did any one get pictures from the back of the group? I only took four because I was throwing so much damb candy but we made it to the end with out running out because we did not start throwing it untill we got to the DQ

That's not helping much or safe imo. A flare tool is about $20-$30 and once you know how to use it brake lines, ps pressure lines are a piece of cake. PS fluid and trans fluid are too flammable to risk spraying on to your exhaust.

1600+ psi...piece of cake?????
Have seen old P/S line and A/C set up with twin clamps and sharp edged barbs on tube but never on bubble ended tubing.
Rather not take the risk of fire or injury to any number of people. It's way to easy to do it right.

I'm thinking along the same line as Jim on this ... I installed a p/strg cooler on a whim, used the hoses that came with the kit and plummed into the closest line (pressure line :miff:). The only one I could reach with what hoses I had the night before. I thought it was all right until I could get more hose and reroute it correctly, since I did put a few miles on it before getting to the parade line up and the night before. Boy was I wrong.

It actually had nothing to do with the hose clamps ... I was the pressure. It blew a hole through the hose twice.

Ordered new lines today and will be up at OTSC this weekend.
