Bilstein 5150 shocks

I need new rear shocks for the XJ after the 8.8 swap. Should I get the 255/70 or the 170/60 valveing? There valve chart says 170/60 for comfort and the 255/70 of agresssive, high speed off road. Any help would be helpful.

I'm using the firm 255 in front and the 170 in back ... these shocks have been going strong 4+ yrs now.

Excellent.

I went through a few sets of your "standard" shocks and these have been great. Daily driving and offroad. Keep in mind this was a dd early in it's day on 33, 36 and occasionally on 37's ... still no problems with the shocks.

I liked the Bilsteins so much I put a set of 5100's on my truck.
