Default Hydraulic clutch quick disconnect

What is the trick to seperating the hydraulic clutch line quick disconnect at the slave cylinder of my YJ?

If it is anything like mine there is a collar on the line by the coupler. Just pull that collar towards the coupler and separate the lines.

Brake cleaner, small pick and a lot of patients.


After spending 45min cleaning the shit out of mine it pretty much fell apart.

I have had it apart 2 times since then without issue.
