Thanks for the welcome, Moz. I have a long time before I claim anything, hell I'm still open running the turdy five out back.

A combination of things. I normally wheel with my kids in the back so the lifted springs handle the weight better, I didn't want to deal with the axle wrap issues, and it makes it feel really stable on the road since it's my DD. I'm going to run it like this for the next year or so and when the rear axle gets swapped I'll make a decision.

nice looking jeep.

However i hope your gearbox does not leak. I used a torch to heat mine up to loosen the pitman, and yeah It leaks.

Thanks for the comments guys, and no the gearbox isn't leaking as of yet. Tried to keep the heat on the arm instead of the shaft.

So far so good.

Great looking rig, MUCH improved. I think the 4 cylinder is going to soon be cooler than high horsepower V-8's. As gas prices keep going up, so will the coolness of the 4! I wish I had one in my Jeep... actually no I don't :tonka: Very COOL!

Got a bunch more work done. First was body work. The drivers side floor was rusting and had a few holes so we cut it out and welded in new sheet.

The passenger side riser cracked through the floor so it was welded shut and reinforced with some 1/4" flat stock. Bad pic but the camera was an afterthought.

Finally got the CB antenna mounted.

Then got started on the bumper/tire swing.....

Just gotta finish the tire swing frame, latch, paint it and mount it.
