Default Gas Gauge Indicator / Gas Prices

Hello. i have a 94 Exploder...just wondering if the fuel indicator in the gas tank that tells your gauge what to read when the truck is stopped or driving...driving at a constant casual speed the gauge is up quite a bit then sitting still it drops about 1/8-2/8s of a tank...just wondering if it was meant to read while driving or standing still...and what do you all think is going to happen with gas..
Thanks
Nick

sounds like the good anti-slosh module is going bad. it plugs into the back of the gauge cluster.

there 50 bucks for a new one from ford

It reads it no matter what the vehicle is doing as long as the ignition is turned on or the engine is running.

its called a "anti slosh" module for a reason, the gauge is not supposed to move around while stopping and starting when driving.
