Default Interesting poll about death & faith...

Thought of this the other night while on a plane

I think a lot of people have faith in a belief with an afterlife because they fear death. I personally am not afraid to die either way, but I feel bad for the emotions caused to the loved ones I leave behind.

Thoughts?

I am not afraid of death, my family is all setup and I have no regrets with my life, I am ready to go whenever the Lord pulls the trigger. My reasons to believe are not based on fear, but of sound mind.

How can anyone say they aren't afraid of death? It a basic survival instinct to fear dying. You must mean afraid of BEING dead, in that case put me down for not afraid and do believe.

Honestly, I am not afraid of death because I am certain of God's provision for my family, and certain of my eternal home. If my death is painful, I might fear pain, but not actually being dead, I am cool with the physical dead part.

I don't fear death. I believe in an after life. I also believe that this life Pales in comparison to the next. God has my Family taken care of. He's shown that to me even in the years I've been trusting in him.

I love Bacon.

i am not afraid of death, but i try to avoid activities with a high mortality rate. i do not believe in god or a life after death. i am much more afraid of being badly crippled or paralyzed. living as a vegetable is worse than death.

It's kinda like...I'm not afraid of heights...I'm afraid of falling from heights...

I'm afraid of the method of death, because some methods suck more than others, but I'm not afraid of being dead. Sky daddy's got my back, yo'. ("Sky Daddy" and the "yo' " used in reference to "Sky Daddy" are registered trademarks of Kerwin Christian Enterprises)

...but I do also luv bacon very much...

I live my life to the fullest because I'm not afraid of death. Everyone dies when they are supposed to, not by chance.

Insert Drew doing some crazy stuff here < because I knew that if it was my time it wasn't going to matter how crazy it might be.

I'm more afraid of the rest of my life than I am of death.
I do fear the method of death.
I used to have a strong belief in a higher being and an afterlife, but after 43 years of watching the human race....

Click.. lights out!!
