sweet heep

i see you built a nice truss/crossmember over the rear axle for what seems to be a traction control device? i am pretty sure that this setup might not get the results you are after....see a leaf spring changes its length through its spring cycle which is compensated buy the swing shackle that is fixed to either the front or the rear of the spring, it looks like that the upper mounts fixed to the axle are not going to allow the axle and the spring to move toward the rear of the rig under full suspension stuff, i have never seen a setup like this so i cant say for sure but its just a guess.

if it were me i would put in 2 more control arms on the axle tube and frame end (making a 4-link) and then cut off the leaf springs and mounts and fab up some coil spring buckets (you obviously have the skill to)

i'm honestly not 100% sure it is going to work as i would like it to also. but, i've flexed the best i can in the garage and with the sissor shackles it seems to work ok. the ONLY reason i put them there is to stop axle warp. i'm going to run it as it is for now and if it don't work it will be going back under the knife and get streached and linked. i've considered just doing it now but i have been working in reverse changing things i alredy had done so much lately i have to start making forward progress. 2 1/2 years and yet to make it out of the garage but it's close. hope to be able to get it out by the end of the summer.
