Default Ferris State HPMSO Car Show

Ferris State's High Performance Motorsports Organization is holding our annual car show Saturday, April 22nd on the Ferris Campus, lot 2.

Registration is from 10 AM to 12 PM. $10 entry fee.

Events include:
Bass Competition
Exhaust Competition
Car Bash (Pay a few bucks, and get to beat on a car with a sledgehammer)
Chassis Dyno ($50 for three runs)

Prizes and trophies are given out to ten different classes:
Best Beater
Best Late Model
Best 4x4
Best Sport Truck
Best Classic Truck
Best Sport Compact
Best Classic Car
Best Sport Bike
Best Road Bike
Best In Show

I think it would be awesome for people near here and even from metro Detroit to bring their rigs up here for the show. Just remember, Silver Lake is only about an hour and 15 minutes from Big Rapids! We could possibly plan a trail ride there the next day or something.

Anyone who comes out will get my sincere appreciation for supporting our organization!

PM me if you need directions.

X2 WTF is exhaust based upon the sound?,the length of flame you can shoot?,or does the biggest eating pipe on an import win that?

my guess:

Bass depends... a lot of people put work into their systems. Some have really cool and nice clean installs.. others have a really loud, clear sound... others is all about how much noise they can push out. Depends on the setup and how knowledgable the person is when they put in their system.

The exhaust... there'd be a difference between a coffee can exhaust and say... a flowmaster 70 with a carsound high flow cat. Or a really cool looking straight pipe. Or a really nice dual exhaust... how you'd even begin to judge this one though I have no freakin' clue, but I can see where you coul find bad setups and good setups when it comes to this.

Or I could be drunk and talkin' out my arse. :p

Sorry, should have specified on the bass and exhaust competition. We use a decible meter to measure each system and exhaust and whoever has the highest number wins.

that doesnt mean it cant change for the better. you can make new catagorys .. one of the loudest exhaust/bass and one with the best sounding, or best work
