Default New Guy

Well I'm new here anyways! I've been over on offroad.com and 4x4wire for years and i just found this site. Just thought I'd say hi and try to add a couple pics from the Gold Bar Rim trail in Moab yesterday. I'm living in Monticello (50miles south of Moab) right now but I'm from Cheboygan, MI, I've only been living out here since Sept. of last year (my brother lives here) but things aren't working out so me & my wife are moving back beginning of june. http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/attachm...1&d=1211170168

My biggest part of moving back is my 7yr old daughter, her and her mom moved to Louisiana about the same time we move to Utah and it didn't work out for them either and they moved back. I need to be closer to her.

My rig is a 87 4runner SR5, 4cyl engine with EB's crawler cam, R151F Turbo 5-speed, SAS'd with about 7in of lift (3in body,4in susp.) 35in BFG's, 15x10 rims with 1.5 wheel spacers, 5.29's, Detroit E-Z locker V-6 rear & Lincoln locked 4cyl front, Marlin Crossover,Axle Truss & Knuckle Ball gussets, Shock hoops & 12in Bilstein's all around,U-bolt flip kit.

yep, it been nice working as a mechanic this last year with a nice shop to work in instead of dads garage. I moved to utah with a Black 87 4Runner on a 85 frame and after a few trips to moab i noticed cracks in the frame and the body was already rough, rust and bondo popping. So i went on RME (rocky mountain extreme,a utah bbs) and asked if anyone knew where i could get a rust free body & frame and a guy sold me the white one for $150!!! i couldn't believe it, but all i got was a body & frame. I had to put my interior, wiring harness, drivetrain, and sas it. It was an all winter project but it been worth it. It nice to have a boss that will let u leave your junk in the shop all winter too
