Think you've got it bad

just wanted to let you all know if you think you got it bad, Fawkin think again.

Some may know that I had a successful 2 year battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but after 9months I came out of remission. the course to go doesn't sound to fun.

1st step is 2 to 4 months of intense chemo.
2nd step will be to get another stem cell transplant. this time the cells will be from a donor.
the doc is saying it will take 9 to 12 months until my immune system will be back to normal.

So if you think lifes bad, think again. it could be worse.

p.s. I will be Posting about a donor drive that is comming up. You could just help someone beat cancer.

Good luck, glad to hear your doing well. Whenever I think I have it bad, I stop and think about how I get to sleep in a warm bed in a safe house while my brother servicemembers keep watch over us all over in the sandbox across the sea.

Best of luck to you.

The only personal experience I have with lymphoma was with my 5 year old dog who just died of it a couple weeks ago. Very different I know, but it at least gives me a clue of your situation.

I posted about a Donor drive coming up, please spread the word. the more donors there are the better the odds of a patient finding a match.

I'll keep y'all posted.................Karl

After your immune system gets back up to par ya gotta wheel the chrome dome before the hair grows back. Much easier to clean the mud off!

Me a few years back V
