I just but the new and improved Detroit locker quiet version in my Metro. I am very impressed with its operation. I don't experience any clunking or steering wrap during turns on dry pavement (or anywhere else for that matter). When traction is required the locker kicks in and both wheels spin without question. btw, it's installed in the front axle.

I have an aussie but I have not had a chance to use it yet really. Install was easy and I heard many good things about it prior to buying it.
