4" I believe. My brother works for a cement company in California and he got them through work for free.

Thanks, I did pretty much everything myself so far too, other than a little help lifting some axles and stuff like that. I love it.

Yea I was told when I bought it, that it originally came from Nevada. It has pretty much no rust, little bit of surface stuff on the underbody but thats it. I'm going to take care of the minor issues before it gets out of hand.

Got the locker and gears installed in the rear this weekend, will get some wheeling pics up as soon as I remember to bring my camera the next time I wheel it. Gonna have to do a little fender trimming also. I'll see you at Silver on Labor Day weekend.

Took her up to the dunes this past weekend. Did pretty good, the muffler fell off tho so I guess it's just a good excuse to upgrade that.

Does perfect for stuff around here, there aren't too many hardcore places to wheel that are close by. It will be bigger some day, looks good and drives even better the way it sits tho.

Well, not much has changed on the cherokee. I did get the wood stove hooked up in the garage so I won't freeze my balls off when I do get some work done on it.

Also got a tube bender, cheap one off of ebay, I bent up some conduit to test it out and it should definately get the job done tho.

Thinking of doing some tube flares as the first project, just need to decide on what welder I will be buying. If anyone has a 110 welder that they want to get rid of that will do up to 1/4" steel let me know.

Just a few wheeling pics to prove it does get used.

No vibes at all drives down the road very smooth. You should be fine with a 4.5" lift, what size tires do you plan on runnnig? I'm in the process of trimming out the fenders, I'm sure I'll be able to stuff some 33's here soon. I'll post some pics of the work later on.

Default Fender Trimming

Yea, seen plenty of cherokees w/ the fenders all trimmed out I know. I thought I would post it anyway. Welder will be here soon so I will post up pics when I get started on the tube flares.
W/ Flare

Flare Off

Relief Cuts

Lip Folded

Looks a little rough but I will weld the seems later and grind everything smooth. Just threw a coat of paint on for now so nothing starts to rust.
