It's not Dangerous if everybody is doing it. Semi's and Busses only are "supposed" to go 60. Is that dangerous? Should Semi's And Busses be allowed to go 70-80? It's only dangerous if the people around you don't know how to drive. (Not that I'm saying you can't drive) I just don't see how going faster could be safer.

I cruised home tonight with the cruise at 60. the only reason it was bothering me was because I felt lik eI was creeping since semi's were passing me and the cars were FLYING by me.

Otherwise it wasn't so bad. I like scooter think its great to just set the cruise and not worry about changine lanes

Ill still drive like a tard either way.

My emotions have a lot to do with my right foot.

Prius driving, cock sucking, patchouli oil smelling hippie fags make me leave the right pedal on the floor and shift furiously.

Normal speed traffic and I'm good.

It's just a "suggested, recommended speed limit" anyway

yeah but the min is now 55 in this state and last year they just changed a bunch of 55/65 to 70.

kind of going backward, but i tend to go 65ish on the highway now to save some gas. and i hate it.

Absolutely not. Unlike, apparently many people, I am smart enough to understand that I can drive slower and get better gas mileage without the government telling me I have to.

I would rather have the choice of whether to drive slowly and save gas or drive faster to save time.

Hmmm driving 55 would save a little but stay under 65 saves more in percentages than the other way
I would have no problem with 60-65 but 55 is way to slow for roads that where designed for 80 any way.

Exactly my point. Don't take that choice away from me by telling me I have to drive 55 to save gas.

I couldn't agree more. There are 3 sets of lights on the way home, within 1/2 mile and I am forced to stop at each and every friggin one of 'em. Some for stores NOT OPEN at 7am!!! Others you let people turn in front of you to have them stop, then when your lights green you wait 1/2 the time for the intersection to clear.....

I would never buy a functioning Hybrid

I wouldn't mind an insight, with the engine out of a fit, Less than 2K lb with around 100 HP, and 40+ mpg sounds fine to me

Ohio already sucks for me, In Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois I still drive around 65, where my truck is governed, it takes an extra hour it seems to cross Ohio at 55mph, and seems like you are moving at a snails pace, I get tired really fast and curse a lot more when I drive slower.

figure what? I've always been told our roads (highways) were designed to be able to driven at 85 in most any car and not have a problem with the curves etc. I am sure there are some areas, but in general.
