If you had a weight disctibuting hitch and trailer brakes I would see nothing wrong with the set up.

If it was an emergency one time deal I see nothing wrong if you took your time other then too much tongue weight.

I agree with the above statement. The only time that jeep should be on the trailer and not tied down is if it is not moving. As soon as it goes on the road it should be, and legally has to be, tied down. It doesn't matter what state you are in, the load has to be tied down. Also, it doesn't matter what state you are, you could kill people.

You my friend, are a complete fucking idiot. Have a nice day.

i was not unsafe or being stupid in any manor aside from loading it up and driving less than 2 miles to a store to get straps to tie it down and i was very cautious when i was doing this no hills all flat land truck with a strong e-brake set hard and also in 4wd so all 4 ties would effectively be locked in and in gear, aside from not having the straps for the less than 2 mile journey this thing could not have been on there any better and as far as the person requesting me not to come to michigan i dont plan on it EVER no reason to for one and fuckin gas is too expensive to go there and i will not fly.

and to the guy wanting a fred meyer they call it kroger everywhere else

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but 100 yards on the road is too far.

sorry but being safe and towing slow will not cause the trailer to "sway all over the place". Like mentioned get a weight distribution hitch.

You knew you were going to pick up the jeep...WHY not stop and get straps before hand. :miff::miff:
