I would take that Weimaraner in a second if I was settled into my new house. I currently have a Viszla bird dog and she sure would love a friend

I would love to give your pups a home, but we can't take bot... We already have a 90 lb Black and Tan Coon Hound/Germand Shorthair mix... Blaze sound just like him..

Good luck with finding the dogs a good home. I know it can be difficult to give them up for adoption.

Would love to have a Weimaraner that is already trained on birds but have no use for a foxhound. My English Setter is getting up there in age and is starting to slow down in the hunting department.

Bump for ya.

You might also try contacting local rescue organizations and see if they can help you.

Go to www.petfinder.com and see if there's someone nearby. Towards the top of the page, there's a link for rescues and shelter groups. They may be able to assist.

Yeah, I know of one right down the road but we've been going back and forth and back and forth...I think instead of getting rid of them we're gonna try getting HIM fixed first and see how that calms him down.

Didn't seem to calm down my husband but we're gonna give it a shot

Its been interesting with our 3 beagles and our 14 month old, but everyone seems to get along pretty well.

Patrick does like to push his little Hippo-Walker into the dogs. Thinks its hilarious. They have learned to move out of his way...

To me it is like saying, "My kids are a pita who wants to buy them?":p

Yeah...we went through the whole, "we took on this responsibility and have no other choice but to keep them and take care of them" and "what's next, the kids if they start to annoy you" and "how can you get rid of those dogs, they are part of your family JUST like your kids" and so on.

Like I said earlier...this is a VERY VERY hard situation...now that the weather has warmed up a bit we can leave the door open so he can come and go without whining CONSTANTLY to go out, come in, go out, come in, go out, come in...seriously!

Oh, and I don't know how or where you got my picture but I appreciate the publicity that you're giving me by making it your avitar that was BEFORE my two kids
