Default people with multiple items for sale

WTF is up with people that have multiple items for sale, its like a flood of individual parts each with its own thread, there was a point this morning where another member had almost the entire page filled!

i think that if you have many parts from the same vehicle for sale then have them listed in ONE thread!

saves someone from having to look 4-5 pages for something that may be worthwhile!

I think it's because you can only fit so much in a title and be reasonable. If you list specific parts with specific names, "1992 Cherokee Intake Manifold", it's more likely to catch someone's eye than just "Cherokee parts" or something like that.

I see where you're coming from though.

Yeah most likely being if someone uses the search they will pop up specific parts.

people suck at search. I list each part individually or in small groups so that they can be found easier by someone looking.

I dont think many ppl use the Search feature.

Grouping parts togther would be cool but choosing the appropriate title can be tough. I say this because sometimes ppl have parts that are for various vehicles.

You can only use a thread for iTrader feedback once. That means if you sell 100 different items all in the same thread to 100 different people, only one person can give you feedback.

Grouping parts also does not work well for the "title" and "search" reasons listed. You can't fit all the shit in the title. If its not in the title, people that suck at searching (almost everybody) will never find the items in the thread.

Multi-item threads also get dragged way the hell out with all the people talking about all the details of the items you didn't come to the thread for. Individual listings keep threads on-topic.

Using your brain and learning how to use the Advanced Search function is a lot more worthwhile than writing threads like this that do nothing.

I like how you're not answering my air filter-related question regarding which engine your WJ has, too.

If an entire page worth of my items were actually each owned by a unique individual, there would be no issue - correct?

Therefore, it doesn't matter who owns any particular item when you are looking at the Forum Index. They are still just items for sale.

Basically, you are complaining about a "Parts For Sale" Forum that is flooded with parts that are for sale.

Oh, no - not that!
